Construction of Gigafactory HJT SP with a Full Cycle of Production of Solar Panels Based on Heterojunction Technology

Construction of Gigafactory HJT SP with a Full Cycle of Production of Solar Panels Based on Heterojunction Technology

Solar Energy Potential

Every year the Sun is generating more of a readily collectible energy with a volume that exceeds the wind energy potential by 1600 times or tens of thousands of times in case of biomass energy. At the end of the day, it is the solar energy that feeds the rest of the energy sources, including the wind, water, plants and animals.

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Sun shall become a dominating source of energy on the Earth by 2100. Over 50% of the planetary produced energy shall be generated from sources converting the solar energy into electricity.

The solar energy is demonstrating a steady growth of its capacity with the annual increase rate of 30-40%.

Product

The use of modern and advanced technologies by Heterojunction (HJT) will enable the Torense Industry d.o.o. to produce a premium solar panels that comply with the most severe market requirements and technological innovations while preserving a low production cost. The finished products shall be accompanied with a technological certificate (term sheet), which forms an integral part of the sales contract and bears the approval of the technical supervisor – Singulus Technologies AG.

Project Development

Owing to the effectiveness of solar panels, the most appealing mechanism for their sales and corporate development of Torense would be the construction of proprietary solar power plants on the territory of countries offering an attractive environment for solar energy.

The corporate development program provides for the establishment of wholly owned subsidiaries in different countries in order to construct solar power plants generating 2 GW/year. The main share of the production of solar panels will be distributed through an exclusive contract between Torense Industry d.o.o. and Torense.

Torense will pay special attention to the implementation of projects for solar power plants with energy storage systems. The pilot project is planned to be launched in 2023.

In order to ensure the implementation of this project in different countries, the terms of an export loan were previously agreed with the leading banks of Croatia:

  • Term of a loan: up to 15 years
  • Cost of a loan: 3%
  • Amount of credit support: 85% of the project budget
  • Equity requirements: 15% of budget for every project
  • Insurance: 0.1–0.3% per year*
